Sully for FAA Administrator · Draft Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger for FAA Administrator!
I am a member and the News Director of the FAA Whistle-Blowers Alliance. As the news director I have followed Mr Babbitt’s 2 years and 7 months as FAA Administrator.
Unfortunately little has been accomplished under Mr Babbitt and I believe the FAA is in very bad shape and needs to be reorganized from top to bottom. I must say that the FAA management has been very “lucky” since there has been a 50% increase in ATC errors, maintenance problems with our airliners and and increase in accidents in General Aviation G/A
I believe our airline industry is close to failure and the FAA has simply been “Lucky” in preventing major airline accidents in the last 2 years.
“SULLY” would be a great start for the government to fix the FAA and the problems in our air transportation system
